He’s obviously quality. Does provide some bits of magic but he also did give the ball away a bit too easily on occasion today.

I think he’s going to take some more time to adapt to our style of play which is very different to Arsenal’s. But overall I’m hapoy with how he is doing and think he will keep improving in our system.

Any time he gets the ball with his back to goal, he always turns his marker.
It's an invaluable asset to have. Very few players have that quality.

He had some good moments as well as being incredibly careless at times. I'm surprised he stayed on the pitch when we were defending our lead given he makes almost no attempt to retain possession. On another day he would have got an assist for a good cross to Mata in the first half or the chance for Mata that was blocked in the 2nd half.

Chose the wrong option at one point in the 2nd half when he could have sent Rashford in towards their goal but instead passed wide to Lukaku.

Asleep at the end when he forgot to mark Salah.

Still not doing anywhere near enough to justify his selection game after game.

People don't seem to be seeing what Alexis has been bringing to this team. Our most hardworking front line player and he's doing the dirty job pretty well in that attavking half. Jose is asking him to be that link between the midfield and the attack. He works his socks off and sacrifices his more attacking orientation to do it. He does loses the ball more than he should but I absolutely love his contributions to this squad.

Thought he worked his socks off today. Still the one pressing the most. Still not at it his best but valuable in today’s game.

Good pressing, tireless defensive effort and created two clear chances of goal. He is still bellow the expectations but not a bad match at all. Actually, played better than Lukaku or Mata overall.

Expect more from a guy who posters were claiming was still a top 5, maybe top 3 player in the league than a weak Tevez impression.

He was good today. worked his ass off for the team. One thing I want him to do more is get more inside the box and find himself in scoring opportunities. Maybe he wants how have more of the ball which he doesn't get. But overall he is doing good for me. One wonder goal would settle the nerves for him.

Is it bad to be concerned? At times lately it seems like his legs have gone. Really hope it's just fatigue and not a long term thing as he just isn't moving the same.

In regards to today's game, he was awful in the first half but was good when he had to help the team in the second. My concerns are valid though I feel.

Average again on the ball but can't fault his work rate once he was moved to the wing

Worked hard and got better once Rashford went off but Jesus he was awful in the first half, he gives the ball away too much. He’s not very fast and will only get slower...I’m concerned to be honest.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
I didn't have a problem with his losses of possession outside of a couple of instances. Also thought instead of the crossfield pass he played to Lukaku in the 2nd half he could have played Rashford in through the channel on the inside left, but not an egregious choice.

His work rate defensively both centrally and when he moved out to the wing was tremendous and, more importantly, disciplined within the framework of the tactical plan.
Agree with that. Poorer choice by Alexis, relating with the context that Rashford is on fire, always getting the better of that RB, one-on-one with him again, and have a lot of sweet spaces to exploit in front of him.

Edit: and Lukaku was in a tighter spaces against a CB with a near upcoming CM of theirs on his tail.

Better. Looked sharp and aggressive with his passing at times but also had a couple of woeful touches. I'm just glad to be seeing some of this former.

Nothing he does come off at the moment..... Did see some encouraging signs with the cross to Mata (I think it was Alexis) and he was much better and got into the game far more once whe moved to the left.

Needs one to go in if his bum or something then hopefully can get on a run of form.

He worked hard and did some nice link up in the first half. Not the explosive impact I hoped he'd make though.

There was a moment in the 2nd half he was in a foot race down our right hand side and he looked a little bit sluggish.

I think he'll come good next season, as buying in January is rarely good for integrating players, but right now I think he needs to play his way in to the side. The rest of our attacking players are all in better form.

He was against Oxlade-Chamberlain so not really a surprise, but yeah he's not got the top speed he used to have. Still quick over 5-10 yards though which is more important.

I was thinking he seems quite slow. I can’t recall him being slow before but he a few times really looked like he was running with Blind or Mata on his back.

Chamberlain is absolutely rapid, so not surprised he lost the foot race.

The race I was referring to precisely was against Robertson, who is pretty quick himself. I'd have expected Sanchez to have the beating of him but he looked slow in that particularly duel. The one against Ox more understandable.

Think he was very poor today. Pogba was slaughtered for much better performances on here..
I was not impressed with him at all. I know it's very early to judge and I know what he is capable of, but his arrival imbalanced the squad so far.
He is getting into Pogba's way who is forced to play much deeper because of him and I don't want to see Martial benched or shifted. In my opinion, we should build our team around Pogba and Martial.
Hope he proves me wrong but I'm not optimistic. He doesn't looks happy either.

He obviously hasn't reached the lofty heights we expect but I've still been happy with him. He works so hard for the team off the ball and he used his experience very well in the last 10 minutes to keep the ball and get us up the pitch when we were really struggling.

I know some people are fearing he's in a Rooney/RVP like decline but Sanchez hasn't lost much with regards to his sharpness, he looks more out of sync with the team more than anything. I look at him and he still oozes class, he just needs to find and understand his role within the team.

A nice summer rest and a preseason and he'll be back firing. I'm sure of it.

I thought he was very poor today. Dont give me this narrative that he worked hard, didn't stop running etc. That's the bare minimum of any player.

He was so weak on the ball, Can brushed him aside everytime. Even when he got the ball, he wasn't able to take on any of the Liverpool players. I was crying out for Lingard to come on in place of Sanchez

He worked extremely hard.

Some moments of quality. Just need more.

A pre-season with the team will do him good.

Absolute quality and I'm not bothered about 9 games in as it hard starting the season with one team playing a completely different style of football then simply adjust to another. I'm not worried as this was a signing for next season and anything positive this one is a bonus.

I don't know why people are saying he needs half a season and the summer in order to adapt. It's not like he came from the French 2nd division. He spent 3.5 years playing in the PL.

We should be seeing better performances already.

Didn't Sanchez create the best chance of the game? It's pretty much the story of his season so far. Very frustrating player when he loses the ball, but always does something that the other players can't.

None of that matters. He’s playing for a team he’s never played for, surrounded by new team-mates. Shouldn’t take him a year to bed in but he should obviously be allowed at least a couple of months.

He is the new Tevez. Forces turnovers from the front. He will come good for us.

He's looked slow for at least the last 12 months. Still has decent acceleration but has completely lost that burst to get away from his marker.

Sanchez is 29 at the very peak of his football, four years in the PL .And we are waiting on him to come good?. I hope we see the best of him.But i'm not holding my breath.

Not just his pace, his turns used to be much sharper meaning his agility has waned some. He's clearly left his absolute physical peak. People want to act like it's a myth that physical declines happen the closer an atracker is to 30 but it's true, although sometimes exaggerated. There's still a cracking player in there though

But each trainer and team has a different view of football.
You should give him at least the summer preparation and then look, how he will do.

I could write how poor he is the same way some users doing it with Mikhitaryan, but i will surely not to this. I just don't think Sanchez should play on the left, because you have two more talente Left Wingers with Martial and Rashford.

Playing in new leagues I never thought mattered too much. What mattered is the play style your team plays. He's gone from Wenger's style with Arsenal to Mourinho's. They're pretty much polar opposites. Of course it'll take time to bed into the system, not to mention learning everyone else's play styles and movements around him.

Regardless, today was a good performance. Wasn't amazing, but was good. Nothing wrong with it and played his part in us winning. Previous games, sure, and he will improve with a bit more time, but today was fine.

Not sure he’s young enough to sustain his intense game in any other position that false 9; he’s too far away from goal in Mourinho’s system to have maximum impact.

He currently looks like an early noughties Perez Golactico signing - marketable, definitely talented....but no fecking clue how compatible he is/will be with the tactics or teammates, nor which position he actually can prosper in.

Can’t/won’t write him off yet, but I think he’s going to overall underwhelm during his time in Manchester.
