These guys weren’t Messi but boy were they class and they wouldn’t have looked out of place alongside Messi and Ronaldo In any team in the world except when they were bit older say 33/34 ish. In conclusion should city break the bank for Messi yes but only for commercial and credibility reasons, should we? Absolutely not.

Only a complete idiot would take Messi over De Bruyne right now for sporting reasons.
For marketing reasons, Messi might be interesting but true big clubs like Real, Utd or Bayern don't need that.
