I've missed this thread!

Let me prepare by listening to all the arrogant City fans who were harping on Radio Manc before the game.

Not one of them predicted less than a 3 goal margin for City to win

What the actual feck.

We actual won two 90 min matches and still lost.
Desperation
We just can't compete at this tournament...we don't have the experience or the history in the competition which you need to get that belief you need to get over the line. Don't know what the answer is
It's all the refs fault!
If the refs had balls from the first whistle it would be different. Leeds at the weekend was the same. Corrupt officials. Give the dirty team a few token yellows later on. Yey the damage is done. That said I am not taking anything away from their comeback.
I can't even read their post match thread as fast as they post total BS there

Somewhere right now Noel Gallagher is punching a wall pretending it’s his brother, blaming him for this loss.

The ref blowing the whistle 10 seconds early was just the icing on the cake. Bet they had a word or two to say about the ref?!

Most of them know they dont deserve it

The ref and ourselves have done this, De bruyne was poor as feck, sterling does nothing most of the time and Ederson doesn't seem to save shots but is hugely important to our game. feck knows the answer. Despondent is the word. Real are shite, but they won and it makes me think we're wearing blue tinted glasses and we're not as good as we think we are. Poor.
Once we let them back in that ref wasn’t going to let them slip up again, not a chance.
We gave a good account of ourselves. Bad refs and bad luck are doing for us this season. Well done the boys. So tragic though.

That ref tonight went fkin rogue in the last period, absolute joke. He was just poor before that
How the feck does he add 6 minutes at the end of the 90 and only 3 at the end of extra time when I’d be surprised if the ball was in play for more than 5 minutes?! Bent as feck.

Even so, so fecking embarrassing from the players to let that get away from them. And we never looked like getting anything back. It’s like there’s no fight when things aren’t going our way.

Absolutely wounded at that. Wounded.

Sure, here you go:
Do not underestimate for one moment the effect that the referee had on that game. The disparity in refereeing got to our creative players early doors, Kev in particular, and it's the main reason why Laporte flashed and it all kicked off.

Our players had to react to it positively and they couldn't because every time they got a foothold the ref would break the play up with a nonsense foul. If I can stomach it I might watch it back and pay attention to his positioning, because he seemed to be coving our passing lanes on more than one occasion. Even Darren Fletcher on comm's said "He's reffe'd the game very strangely". I'll be surprised if he doesn't get a reprimand for that.

Oh little boy Grealish had two or three sitters to make it 2-0. And we all know what happened after that.
He would be perfect for Spurs, big time bottler :)

I like this one.

Disappointing but shit happens. We’re due a trophyless season, just hope it’s not this year. A small rebuild in the summer and at least Pep will probably sign that extension now. He’s going nowhere until he wins this mickey mouse competition.

There's people on there saying they'd rather Liverpool win the CL than Real "because it'll make the rags mad". EVERYTHING is about us. Even when we're absolute cack and they're winning the league and going deep in the CL every year, it's still about United.

You can take City out of the small time but you can't take the small time out of City.
