Think we can put this thread to bed anyway
End of the season, I think he'll resign. We got lucky and he still needs sacking ASAP.
What half is that? The ones he signed?
Im not proud of the performance but half this first XI has obvious gaps. If they are filled properly- then a poor performance can be judged so harshly.
If he signed mata, fellaini & replacing the youngsters that should be squad players like lingard & borthwick jackson.. Then yes. What half is that? The ones he signed?
As a fact, nothing to argue with. But, do you really chalk that win up to LvG?You've got to hand it to him. He's got one hell of a record against them.
Well yes, if he can take credit for these wins why do people keep making excuses for him saying it's not his fault when we don't score or win, saying he can't put the ball in the net himself but takes the credit for today when the goal was our first shot on target and we basically robbed the scousers. You've got to hand it to him. He's got one hell of a record against them.
Yeah because Mata and Fellaini were the problem. They were among our best performers today and both contribute to our goal. Smalling was once again our best defender, De Gea man of the match and Rooney the goal scorer. Meanwhile the wort performers were Schneiderlin and Darmian. Comfortably so at that. It was also Van Gaal's choice to leave the squad so light necessitating the young players. How do you know what Woodward has done in this window? If he signed mata, fellaini & replacing the youngsters that should be squad players like lingard & borthwick jackson.. Then yes.
The blame should be on van gaal & Woodward. The latter hasn't done crap all this transfer window & we actually do go the rest of the season without adding players that complete our set up then we are shooting ourself in the foot.
But yet at times when we are the better side and lose, nobody gives this a consideration.Completely flukes that result. United improved in the second half but Liverpool were the better side for most of the game. Not having an actual finisher in the team cost them.
I'm not sure about what you are trying to say. When we play well and lose people are disappointed but they know that you can't win every games and that sometimes luck isn't on your side. Our current problem is that we don't play well and that it means that we will often lose or draw. But yet at times when we are the better side and lose, nobody gives this a consideration.
Has he though? Most would argue he hasn't.As always, LVG does just enough to keep his head above water.
