He picked up an injury in September.
He had the first surgery in October. Standard recovery for ligament repair surgery can be anything from a few weeks to 6 months+.

None of us know how much he really needed the surgery or if it could have waited. But with his comments and constant rumours he isnt exactly rushing to get back, it's easy to be suspicious. Personally I think he'll drag it out with a few more setbacks and the odd game until the end of the season, then hes gone.

I like Pogba, I think hes easily our best player, but maybe it's time for him to go. Our biggest problem right now is the circus that surrounds the club and he and his fat agent are the fecking ringmasters.
The only circus is the one the media creates because of nutjobs like you that believe it all. If they didn't have people clicking on their Pogba links non stop they wouldn't keep talking about him.

You read the articles, spout the shite on twitter and believe all the hype behind it all. Before Pogba it was Rooney, after Pogba it'll be somebody else.

People genuinely believed he wasn't injured and just couldn't be bothered to play  the fact he's had to made all these videos to prove it is a bit of a joke.

It's funny that since these videos have come out - a certain few posters have gone quiet again ;)

Just a few weeks ago he was ‘banished’ by Ole because he was bad for the team spirit or something. ‘Ole knows he’s leaving soon and has sent him away from the squad’. These nut jobs have now quietly retreated with no retraction.

That makes for very grim reading.
People were way too hasty to dismiss him for some reason. Our other midfielders are just there to take the ball off other teams. On it, they are far from the level required.

What the hell you talking about, he’s spent 3 months on vacation then returns with a “different” injury that needs surgery. It’s clowns like you falling for this insta star doing his rocky montage routine like he did in Dubai when he was also busting a gut to get back.

If that’s aimed at me your so far off the mark, he’s just a waste of time and money now that he’s become irrelevant. If we don’t sell him this window which is obviously unlikely I will bet you every penny in my pocket versus every penny in your pocket he will not play regularly again this season, apart from May to keep him sharp for the euros.

Oh shut up, you have had nothing to substantiate the absolute tosh you came up with for months. ‘Holiday’. What a fecking embarrassment you are.

The embarrassment is any fan supporting him, doesn’t care, doesn’t watch us, let’s his agent abuse us, let’s his brothers abuse us. When was the last time he posted anything about the team that pays him £1,256,000 a month that he’s nearly coming up on not having scored for a year in open play? Are you in the Jessie thread abusing him?

Who gives a feck what he posts? How many games has he played in the last year? Who told you he doesn’t care? Why are you lying that he doesn’t watch us? I may we’ll be in a Jesse performance thread criticising his performances because he’s actually been playing, hence performances to critique. You are criticising Pogba’s performances in his life! How he is conducting his recovery. How he uses his Instagram account. You are obsessed, and over the last 3 months, when repeatedly challenged, have failed to articulate any credible argument to justify your position. At all. How can any fan supporting a United player be an embarrassment?

Your supporting a player that wants out and is clearly working towards that goal. I won’t do that and nor does any real united. Makes you a fan of the player over the club, as soon as a player wants out he’s gotta go unless it’s retrievable which it is not here unless you think he deserves a pay rise?

I maybe old skool but I believe even injured players (if non serious) should be at games supporting the team (most clubs have it in the contracts, Fergie insisted on it). He wouldn’t even go to Burnley all of 30 miles before HIS advisors told him he needed surgery.

He’s played enough games in 2019 for a £100m attacking midfielder to have scored more than zero open plays since February.

Aww man. I can understand why you're so hurt. You must really adore him if you get worked up so much. It seems people will always find faults with Pogba. Is he the only injured player since Sir Alex time who hasn't attended games?

If at all Pogba truly isn't committed to us anymore, it shouldn't erase the many times he has shown his commitment and played through injury for us. Happened quite a few times with Mourinho and even Ole.

It's a bit of a stretch to think he is fooling our medical team with his injury. If that's true, what a great con man he is!

Cut him some slack. He hasn't killed anyone. His only offense is choosing the Manchester United project over the Madrid one.

You know feck all about him wanting out or not so stop stating "a player that wants out", it's such a dumb argument that reflects you as well. :)

Bunch of weirdos. I’ve never seen so many fans actively trying to dislike one of their academy graduates. They even forget the whole “came through the ranks/United way” drivel they spout from time to time, just to hate on Pogba. Then have the gall to turn around and talk about “the circus around him” when they are the ones running rampant on the internet with dumb stuff like “he’s faking an injury”. feck’s sake.

Haha academy graduate - he left angering our greatest ever manager with a cnut of a prick of an agent and came back costing £100m and £15m a year

We are in year 4 and got 6 goals (half from penalties - not even gonna get into the missed ones) a season and about one assist a month.

That's the worst part, they are the circus. The other day the commentators were complaining about the circus around Pogba instead of simply commentating the game. I don't even know if they did it on purpose or if they were too dumb to realize how ironic it was.

I hope he signs a new deal.. the breakdown of @fergiesarmy1 would be a glorious thing to see.
Funny

But do you know what, what all these haters don’t see about me? I’d love to be proven wrong.

He’s a cnut, will always be a cnut but will be somebody else’s cnut next year.

Is this based off you thinking he faked an injury or something else? (That actually happened)

Okay, what have you seen that makes him a cnut?
He said he wants a new challenge, his agent says he wouldn’t take anyone here, his brothers say he wants out, he won’t even go to watch us anymore, he hasn’t played basically all season due to an ankle injury then requires surgery on a different injury, he spent 3 months on vacation in Dubai, Miami and Paris when he could have been doing I don’t know what’s that thing called - training, rehabilitation, recovery. One of those 3 at least.

What have you seen this season that does not make him a cnut for that £1,256.000 a month basic that has seen no goals?

You seriously think he's injured/ill? This guy is seriously bullet proof to some fans
I am sorry but I have to say, he has treated the fans unfairly and whatever insult he gets, he had it coming.
Poor performance we can take, but disloyalty to fans that basically ensure you get paid that shit load of cash is unfair.
Pogba needs to be fined huge amounts for not playing.
This really is breach of contract.
Will celebrate like winning a trophy when this virus is sold
It's ridiculous now. The club can't continue to be mugged off by their best player. Ole needs to cut the shit and fine him, his conduct cannot be defended any longer.
He's taking the fecking piss.

Just get rid.
he clearly can't be arsed.
Sick of this cnut now, get rid!!
If you believe he is injured then I have a bridge to sell you
You must be so entitled to not go to work when you are paid as much as he is. Together with Raiola’s comments, there isn’t really anything to justify his actions..
If you believe he's genuinely injured....
An absolute stain on this club.
State of this...and it’s a small sample as well, and without even quoting the head weirdo in charge.

Your mental gymnastics are quite something to behold. You're in a league apart in that regard.

There's always something isn't there?

Pretty much the same argument I’ve always had, what’s your issue with any of those points?

There were a lot more than that tbh. Started with @Irrational. thread in the Manchester United forum which was met with a swarm of sympathisers who allowed their creative freedom to run wild. Every scenario was accounted for, in detail. He’d been exiled by Ole as he was bad for team spirit, a deal was already agreed for January, @Alabaster Codify7 had confirmed to us all he’d never play for us again and was not injured.

Was a total shit show, and they, with the exception of their leader of course, have all quietly crawled away. I was on holiday over the festive period, but I’m certain some of them returned when he was not able to play against Burnley.

Player X, leaves Club A where he has won titles, and returns to Club B where he played as a youth.
Player X wins the World Cup.
Player X was 3rd, 8th, 11th in Whoscored Player ratings over the past 3 EPL seasons, playing in a stifling system not built around his strengths where is he is asked to perform too many roles.
Player X plays through injury and gets injured again.
Player X is accused of faking his injury.

Poster Y thinks Player X is a cnut and spams it over and over again because he's butt hurt that Player X (the best player at the club) has ambition to compete at the highest levels, which is not matched by a club that is run like a decrepit, washed up nostalgia-pandering amusement park.

Confirmed: Poster Y is a donkey.

No offence guys, but this sort of back and forth between pro and anti [insert player's name here] contributes nothing of substance to this site. Calling each other embarrassments, telling each other to shut up - it's just childish in the extreme. Why not instead work on the shared assumption that you are both United fans and discuss rationally why you may or may not want to have a player on the team?

A little bit of empathy goes a long way. You can like a GF but know it's better for you if you leave her. Same thing here. He likes UTD, but we are so shit that any decent player shouldn't be wasting their time on us. We aren't going anywhere with the glazers, Woodward and ole. If you want to win things, you're better off staying away until those 3 aspects are changed. Can you blame a player for that? Hell no.

And in regards to that romantic stuff about a player going with the team. It really doesn't matter. Recovery is the number 1 priority. Watching the time play doesn't really aid recovery in the slightest so it's not really essential is it

Maybe not everyone believes every little thing they read in the tabloids? That's not reasonable?

How do you know it wasn't serious? Are you a doctor now? The fact that shortly after Burnley, he's undergoing surgery suggests the opposite to me.

His advisers were doctors...

Oh he's an attacking midfielder now is he? That's news to me. He hasn't played the same position since everyone's legs went last season. This season he was playing DM. The same position as McTominay and Fred... Also see his price has increased.
