Real looks like a lower division team, but Barca haven't been able to create many chances.

Referee is giving too many fouls.

Not sure what has happened to Suarez last few weeks. Have been trying to convince myself that that's temporary. But his overall passing and game has gone down a lot.

Both strikers have been really poor. They are Rooney-ing their teams' moves.

Worst clasico for a while. If Suarez had knocked that chance in it might have raised the tempo but in the end it's basically summed the half up.

Terrible match so far. Lots of possession for Barca but only one good chance. The rest is the usual handbags, I cannot believe the ref didn't whistle that hack from Ramos on Messi.

With Barca marching comfortably towards another title there's little riding on this, and it shows. Neither team seems that bothered about forcing the issue. The intensity of previous classicos is lacking.

Tactically, Madrid has played this well. You kind of feel Xavi's Barca would've pulled them apart though.

If Suarez doesn't miss that goal, its a way more exciting match with Real going forwards.

Which makes little sense as Real have basically nothing to lose. They should show more cojones.

thought for the day.....

had we signed Ramos last summer our lineups this year with him and Fellaini would have been dirtier than Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct
