Some people are just miserable for miseries sake.

This may go either way. But for today at least ,we can be happy.
Even if it doesn't turn out great, Ed will be happy.

Football finance expert Rob Wilson, of Sheffield Hallam University, says Ibrahimovic would be United's most marketable player since Cristiano Ronaldo, with shirt sales alone topping £50m - enough to cover the cost of failing to qualify for this season's Champions League.

"Zlatan has a global profile and global appeal," Wilson said. "Fans will buy shirts with Ibrahimovic on the back in Africa, South East Asia - markets United had a foothold in but not the leverage.

"Only a few select few players can do that: Gareth Bale, Neymar, Lionel Messi and Ronaldo."

Not worried about this all, this guy delivers wherever he goes. And it's Jose who will be managing him. Good times ahead.

This is a marketing dream for sure(Although I have never bought into the shirt sales theory especially as thatvdoesntveven account for the cannibalisation of our other players)

But even above the marketing,we have suffered months of pain, for one day we can just be optimistic. That's the great thing about pre-season.

That's not actually going to happen, is it?
This is what their owner said:

Honestly one thing I forgot in my speech is that we're going to call one of the tribunes [stands] under his name...I hope that we did enough for him because he deserves always more.
Who knows if they'll actually go through with it. It would be amusing if they did though.

You guys easily have the best front 3 in the League now. I'm incredibly jealous. You just signed the best players in Ligue Un & the Bundesliga last season and already have arguably the best U-21 player in the world to complete the trio.

Thankfully, Mourinho reportedly being forced to pigeon-holing Rooney into the team should likely compensate for the glaring disparity in attack for the rest of us. He's that bad now.

Who'd have thought a year ago that we'd have Mourinho and Zlatan by now?

Mourinho then had just won the PL with Chelsea..

Surely "involved in" means goals, and assists? In which case you'd expect the entire United squad to outdo him there.
If we count our assists to other teams you mean? Or do you want to count the 49 twice as each one had a goal and an assist.

We've went from Martial - Rashford - Lingard, to Martial - Zlatan - Mkhitaryan.

Can't wait for this season.
