We'll just make you pay more than the actual release cluase again. We should bid 30 million, and see what adjectives Everton comes up with this time.

You're really prickly in this entire ordeal. I'm not really sure why. We'll just make you pay more than the actual release cluase again.
I am ?You're really prickly in this entire ordeal. I'm not really sure why.
Probably.I am ?
Meltdown oncoming.Probably.
You're replying to yourself.Probably.
True but then people seem to place a lot of importance to being "prem proven". Thus the extra premium placed on players like Lukaku.Inflation in English football has gone out of hand. You could probably get Aubameyang or Lewandowski for that kind of money.
We need goals against lower teams, he provides that, would pay 42.3m maximum. He's a good player but I don't think he's at the level we need.
With the premier league TV money, clubs don't need to sell their best players. Considering the money they sold John stones for, clubs wont get Lukaku for less than that in last summer window. Everton would have sold him for 60m at the start of the season. Now with him being top scorer and they struggle to get good players when their owner is ready to invest, they will let him leave for nothing less than say 70m+. The key here is he is having only 2 more years in his contract. Hence they have to sell now for his value not to plummet in the next season with a year left. Also depends on his attitude whether keeping an unhappy lukaku at the club for next season. His agent will get his way, it is only a matter of time (If they try to keep him, his agent may throw the chair like Mkhi transfer saga). I can see him going for around 70m to the team which he insist on joining among the interested clubs. After success of premier league proven player Kante, Chelsea may take extra step to go for him this season than United. The inflated Chinese money from Diego Costa will be invested in him. I wouldn't be surprised if they get 80m for him from Chelsea. We need goals against lower teams, he provides that, would pay 42.3m maximum.
Kevin Phillips used to score bucket loads as well. He wasn't good enough for us either.23, top scorer in the league and already Evertons record top goalscorer.
But apparently he's not "the level we aspire to"
Exactly. We are doing ourselves no favors by paying such ridiculous transfer fees.Inflation in English football has gone out of hand. You could probably get Aubameyang or Lewandowski for that kind of money.
Giroud has had around 20 goals every season since he's been at arsenal. Would you think he would be a good signing for us?23, top scorer in the league and already Evertons record top goalscorer.
But apparently he's not "the level we aspire to"

Tbh I would have Giroud as a backup, yeah.Giroud has had around 20 goals every season since he's been at arsenal. Would you think he would be a good signing for us?
There is more to a player than the numbers they put up. You can watch a player and assess their game, and many people think that Lukakku wouldn't take our level up that much.
100mWas absolute guff today. Everton can feck off with £100m
the fecking cheek of them100m
A 23-24 years old Lewandowski was available for 17 million and almost signed for United. Even Polish National Coach confirmed that publicly.Inflation in English football has gone out of hand. You could probably get Aubameyang or Lewandowski for that kind of money.
For around 80 million I'd sell. It's a fair price.I don't think you can keep him. The amount you could get for him easily outweighs the benefit of his 25-30 goals. For 100m you can easily build a top squad.
Its less of a problem for a club your size as opposed to the likes of United, City, Arse, or Chelsea who would no doubt get fleeced. You could easily bring in players like Strootman, Keita, Van Dijk and the like for 20-25m each and also get a great striker for the outstanding amount. For around 80 million I'd sell. It's a fair price.
The only worry is that like with the Suarez and Bale money, teams know you are sitting on a big kitty so they overcharge you.
Van Dijk will cost a lot more than that, no matter what club from the EPL wants him. I'm not sure whether Leipzig would sell Keita for cheap either. Its less of a problem for a club your size as opposed to the likes of United, City, Arse, or Chelsea who would no doubt get fleeced. You'd be surprised how little of some of the players go for when its a smaller club.Van Dijk will cost a lot more than that, no matter what club from the EPL wants him. I'm not sure whether Leipzig would sell Keita for cheap either.
Yes, but van Dijk won't be going to Everton and Southampton wouldn't sell their best player for cheap domestically. You'd be surprised how little of some of the players go for when its a smaller club.
Lukaku already has 24 (league)goals this season. And still have few games left. Giroud has scored 16 at his best season. Lukaku maybe will end up somewhere between 25 and 30 goals this season. Lukaku simply is tier above Giroud.Giroud has had around 20 goals every season since he's been at arsenal. Would you think he would be a good signing for us?
Or course you could. Lewandowski will be 29 years this year, and Aubameyang 28. Lukaku is 5/4 years younger.Inflation in English football has gone out of hand. You could probably get Aubameyang or Lewandowski for that kind of money.
